Product update: Outpost Pro 6.7.1
 We are pleased to announce the latest (6.7.1) versions of Outpost Firewall Pro, Outpost Security Suite Pro, and Outpost Antivirus Pro 2009. This release is yet another step in the company’s ongoing product improvement process that, combined with beneficial new functionality, brings us closer to the launch of Outpost Pro 2010 later this year.
With version 6.7.1, Agnitum’s development team reached another important compatibility milestone, one relating to Windows 7 RC and Vista SP2. A recent Windows update caused Microsoft’s Action Center to report that Outpost antivirus and firewall were disabled, while they were in fact actively protecting the system. This situation will not now recur.

How Outpost Saved My System — Windows 7 stories
Our story competition "How Outpost helped protect my Windows 7 PC" closed fir entries a couple of weeks ago and our board of judges has been working hard to determine a winner. Getting a short list of stories was easy but deciding on the top 10 has been a real challenge.
We also gave a bye to our devoted blog readers, extending their deadline until September 20, 2009.
Eventually, we were able to select the three best stories about how Outpost Pro secures Windows 7. The top prizes went to the US, Finland and Brazil. Runners-up hailed from Romania, Russia and the UK. Congratulations to our winners and thanks to everyone who entered. We enjoyed what we read, and some stories were actually pretty useful to us as well!
