Well, D-Day is here and so this is your final notice — migrate to the latest and greatest version now, or risk losing the great Agnitum protection you’ve been relying on all this time.

Here are the improvements you can expect when you upgrade to Outpost Security Suite Pro, Outpost Antivirus Pro or Outpost Firewall Pro 7.0.4:

• No more stability issues — we’ve eliminated a number of freezes and system errors
• Seamless version transition — we’ve eliminated the remaining installation issues
• Optimized self-learning in Outpost Security Suite’s antispam module

You can upgrade your older Outpost protection to version 7.0.4 free of charge and enjoy the benefits of updated protection in just minutes. In other words, any previously purchased and currently active (i.e. non-expired) license, no matter where it’s 1/2/3 year or lifetime, can be applied to Outpost 7.0.4 products.

Users of Outpost 7.0.3 and higher versions are safe! Your updates and cutting edge security measures are unaffected by this transition.

Yet another VB100 award — this time, it’s for protecting Windows Server 2003

VirusBulletin has granted Outpost Security Suite Pro 7.0.3 yet another award, this time for effective antivirus protection on systems running Windows Server 2003 SP2. This is the third VB100 award in a row for Outpost protection of Windows business editions this year; the two earlier awards were for Vista Business Edition in June and Windows Server 2008 R2 in August.
