ImproveNet and automated configuration of settings
ImproveNet is an optional system through which users can anonymously submit configuration data such as network access rule-sets and Host Protection settings for review by Agnitum specialists. Configuration data that pass the review process are added to the next set of secure Outpost configuration files to be automatically distributed across the community of Outpost users.
Users whose program policy is set to automatically create rules for new program activity will benefit from having most of the Outpost program settings configured and applied automatically without their direct participation.
This collaborative approach minimizes the number of alerts users see, facilitates better understanding of day-to-day system communication activity and program interactions, and shifts the sometimes-confusing task of setting appropriate configurations away from the user.
