To completely uninstall the software from your system, perform the following steps.

Outpost 7:

If you have Outpost installed, but it is impossible to uninstall the product using Add or Remove programs, please, follow the instruction:

1. Boot into Safe Mode. Please, see the following article for details on how to reboot in Windows Safe Mode: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315222/en-us.
2. Run the file clean.exe from Outpost folder (by default C:\Program Files\Agnitum\Outpost < your product >). Your PC will automatically reboot.

If Outpost folder is not present, please, follow the instruction:

1. Download the file clean.zip (for 32-bit systems) or clean64.zip (for 64-bit systems) and unpack it into some folder which you can easily find.
2. Boot into Safe Mode. Please, see the following article for details on how to reboot in Windows Safe Mode: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315222/en-us.
3. Run the unpacked file clean.exe. Your PC will automatically reboot.

Outpost 2008/2009:

1. Download the file clean.zip (for 32-bit systems) or clean64.zip (for 64-bit systems) and unpack it into some folder which you can easily find.
2. Boot into Safe Mode. Please, see the following article for details on how to reboot in Windows Safe Mode: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315222/en-us.
3. Run the unpacked file clean.exe. Your PC will automatically reboot.

Outpost Firewall 1.0-4.0:

Note: If the Outpost Firewall installation folder is different from the default one (C:\Program Files\Agnitum\Outpost Firewall), use its path instead of the specified one.

1. Driver uninstallation:
   
   
   • IMPORTANT: Restart your computer in Safe Mode (if you do not know how to restart in safe mode, click here).
   • Select Start > Run, type in the command:
     
     "C:\Program Files\Agnitum\Outpost Firewall\install.exe" /u
     
     and click OK.
     
   
   
2. Components unregistration:
   
   
   • Select Start > Run, type in the command:
     
     regsvr32 /u: "C:\Program Files\Agnitum\Outpost Firewall\op_shell.dll"
     
     and click OK.
     
   
   
   • Repeat previous action for each of these commands:
     
     regsvr32 /u: "C:\Program Files\Agnitum\Outpost Firewall\op_data.dll"
     regsvr32 /u: "C:\Program Files\Agnitum\Outpost Firewall\op_log.dll"
     regsvr32 /u: "C:\Program Files\Agnitum\Outpost Firewall\Plugins\BrowserBar\ie_bar.dll"
     
   
   
3. Registry keys deletion:
   
   
   • Select Start > Run, type in the command:
     
     regedit
     
     and click OK.
   
   
   • Browse to and delete the key
     HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Agnitum\Outpost Firewall and in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run delete the key values OutpostFeedBack and Outpost Firewall.
   • Browse to and delete the key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Agnitum Outpost Firewall Pro_is1.
   
   
4. Files and shortcuts deletion:
   
   
   • Delete the folder C:\Program Files\Agnitum\Outpost Firewall.
   • Delete the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\Agnitum Shared.
   • Select Start > Programs > Agnitum, right-click Outpost Firewall and select Delete.
   
   
5. Restart the computer.

Outpost Security Suite 2007:

Note: If the Outpost Security Suite installation folder is different from the default one (C:\Program Files\Agnitum\Outpost Security Suite), use its path instead of the specified one.

1. Driver uninstallation:
   
   
   • IMPORTANT: Restart your computer in Safe Mode if you do not know how to restart in safe mode, click here).
   • Select Start > Run, type in the command:
     
     "C:\Program Files\Agnitum\Outpost Security Suite\install.exe" /u
     
     and click OK.
     
   
   
2. Components unregistration:
   
   
   • Select Start > Run, type in the command:
     
     regsvr32 /u: "C:\Program Files\Agnitum\Outpost Security Suite\op_shell.dll"
     
     and click OK.
     
   
   
   • Repeat previous action for each of these commands:
     
     regsvr32 /u: "C:\Program Files\Agnitum\Outpost Security Suite\op_data.dll"
     regsvr32 /u: "C:\Program Files\Agnitum\Outpost Security Suite\op_log.dll"
     regsvr32 /u: "C:\Program Files\Agnitum\Outpost Security Suite\Plugins\BrowserBar\ie_bar.dll"
     
   
   
3. Registry keys deletion:
   
   
   • Select Start > Run, type in the command:
     
     regedit
     
     and click OK.
   
   
   • Browse to and delete the key
     HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Agnitum\Outpost Security Suite and in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run delete the key value OutpostFeedBack.
   • Browse to and delete the key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Agnitum Outpost Security Suite_is1.
   
   
4. Sandbox driver uninstallation:
   
   
   • Select Start > Run, type in the command:
     
     rundll32 setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultUninstall 132 C:\Program Files\Agnitum\Outpost Security Suite\Kernel\sandbox.inf
     
     and click OK.
     
   
   
5. LSP filter uninstallation:
   
   
   • Select Start > Run, type in the command:
     
     rundll32 "C:\Program Files\Agnitum\Outpost Security Suite\lspfilt.dll",uninstall
     
     or
     
     rundll32 "C:\Program Files\Agnitum\Outpost Security Suite\lspfilt64.dll",uninstall
     
     for 64-bit platforms and click OK.
     
   
   
6. Files and shortcuts deletion:
   
   
   • Delete the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\Agnitum Shared.
   • Select Start > Programs > Agnitum, right-click Outpost Security Suite and select Delete.
   
   
7. Restart the computer.
8. To finish the uninstallation, delete the folder C:\Program Files\Agnitum\Outpost Security Suite.
