You can get the latest data base version from another computer (which has Internet access) and transfer it to your computers, which do not have Internet access. You need to create the latest database backup copy on the newly updated computer based on which of the following software you are using.

Save the backup copy of *.SDB, *.XML and *.VDB (only for OSS Pro) files, located in C:\WINDOWS\system32\Filt\.

Older versions of Outpost require different attempt:

For Outpost Firewall Pro (versions up to and including 4.0): save the backup copy of *.SDB files, located in C:\Program Files\Agnitum\Outpost Firewall\Plugins\AntiSpyware.

For Outpost Security Suite Pro 2007: save the backup copy of *.SDB files and the entire base folder, located in C:\Program Files\Agnitum\Outpost Security Suite\Plugins\AntiMalware\.

When you need to restore the backup files:

  • Disable self-protection―right-click the product system tray icon and select Disable Self-Protection.
  • Exit Outpost―right-click the product system tray icon and select Exit.
  • Copy over the files in the corresponding folder with the saved backup files.
