First, make sure that you have the most recent version of software you use:

• Current Outpost Firewall Pro version: 8.0 (4164.639.1856)
• Current Outpost Security Suite Pro version: 8.0 (4164.639.1856)
• Current Outpost Antivirus Pro version: 8.0 (4164.639.1856)

If you have an earlier version, please update the software.

Determine what version of Outpost you are using

For Outpost 5.0 and below

1. Open Outpost main window;
2. On the Help menu click About;
3. Examine your Outpost version and compare it to the latest version published on the site.

For Outpost 6.0 and newer

1. Right-click on Outpost icon;
2. Click About;
3. Examine your Outpost version and compare it to the latest version published on the site.

How to renew your expired license

• Outpost Firewall Free 1.0 or 6.5 ("2009") users:
  - You need to purchase Outpost Firewall Pro license and then go back to this page and proceed to upgrade instructions;
• Outpost Firewall Pro 1.0/2.0/2.1/2.5/2.6/2.7/3.0/3.5/3.51 users:
  - You need to extend your subscription and then go back to this page and proceed to upgrade instructions;
• Outpost Firewall Pro 4.0/6.0/6.5/6.7 users:
  - Follow the upgrade instructions on this page.
• Outpost Security Suite Pro 2007 (5.0)/2008 (6.0)/2009 (6.5/6.7) users:

2. Save your work and exit all other applications
